Coming from a family of traditional healers (msabuh), my grandmother Rabay Lowbing (simplified as Jinmei, deceased) was the eighth generation healer in our family, while my great-aunt Aya Lowsing (He Jinxiu) was the ninth generation, and I, Lowbing, am the tenth generation. From a young age, I was nurtured by my grandmother Rabay, who practiced and passed on our traditional culture. I have a profound interest in our belief system, was chosen by the ancestral spirits (Utux Rudan), and have followed the family's traditional disciplines to carry on the work of a healer. During the summer vacation of my junior high school years, in the presence of family members, I affirmed my identity as a spiritual medium (healer).
